Denis Pellerin is a photo-historian with a passion for stereo photography. He has been
researching the history of stereoscopy for over 45 years and has written or co-written more than a dozen books and authored nearly seventy articles on his pet subject, both in French and in English.
Since 2012 Denis has been the head curator of Sir Brian May’s extensive collection of stereo photographs, now a charity, and for the past five years, he has been co-curating the Brian May Archive of Stereoscopy with Rebecca Sharpe.
Hexham & District Photographic Society are delighted to welcome Denis to The Forum for a presentation on stereoscopic photography and the work he does with the Brian May archives. Stereoscopic viewing glasses will be provided on the night.
The society will also be presenting their annual awards following the talk.
