Based on Brian Selznick's book The Invention of Hugo Cabret, Martin Scorsese’s Hugo tells the story of a boy who lives alone in the Gare Montparnasse railway station in Paris in the 1930s and nods back to Georges Méliès' and the beginnings of cinema.

Forum Books is an award winning independent bookshop situated in the heart of Northumberland. Eclectic, original and endlessly enthusiastic about the printed word, they stock a hand-picked and eye-popping range of beautiful books and host an eclectic range of author events. They're staffed by bibliophiles happy and eager to talk books and make informed recommendations. In short, they love books as much as you do. Go and say hello!

Now in their 9th successful season, Corbridge Film Nights is a community based film club which meets on Sunday nights in Corbridge Parish Hall. They show a diverse range of non-mainstream foreign language independent films which attracts members from all over Tyndale. They like to show topical films that get people thinking and talking. All very welcome. Free refreshments.

Led by Forum Cinema Hexham, Tyne Valley Film Festival will bring together communities in and around the Tyne Valley for a celebration of the history of film.
