This August sees the launch of a brand new festival across Hexham - Cosmic Frequencies and you can join us for the main event in our cinema auditorium, August 9th.
The evening promises to be a night of mind expanding science with expert talks and live cosmic funk music, brought to you from the S.K.X Funkanauts.
On August 19th we’ll be presenting a recently rediscovered classic of Portuguese cinema, Belarmino.
Local young filmmaker Louis Byrom will introduce this impressive slice of life docu-fiction and share a recent short documentary of his own, Four Corners prior to the film.
In anticipation of Halloween we will be enjoying Horror Express starring British screen icons Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing on October 28th.
For this special event we will be joined by Mark Iveson for a post-film Q+A, author of Peter Cushing The Reluctant Globetrotter. In participation with Hexham Book Festival.
