The season launches on 11th November 2025 with Caravaggio. Directed by David Bickerstaff (Vermeer: The Greatest Exhibition and Van Gogh: Poets & Lovers), this is the most extensive film ever made about one of the greatest artists of all time. Using some exceptional drama sequences to enlighten his story, the film has everything you need to uncover the mystery, intrigue, beauty and passion that sounds Caravaggio’s art and life.
Second in the season is Turner and Constable 10th March 2026. Filmed from the incredible exhibition at Tate Britain which starts at the end of 2025 and made to celebrate the 250th anniversary of both artists' births. This film is revelatory, placing both these greats side by side, as they so often were in life, on the big screen for the first time.
Finally, to celebrate the groundbreaking new Museum of Fine Art Houston and Tate Britain exhibition ‘Frida Kahlo; the Making of an Icon,’ Frida Kahlo is back to cinemas with exclusive new bonus material from the upcoming exhibition. Screening 19th May 2026 the film is available a month before the exhibition in London opens, allowing audiences to watch the film ahead of the exhibition opening.
