Synopsis

'Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?'

Chronicling the years leading up to the bands legendary appearance at the 1985 Live Aid concert, BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their iconic songs and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury who defied stereotypes and shattered conventions to achieve universal fame and affection.

Rami Malek is magnificent as Mercury capturing both the voice and the physicality as he alternates between high energy and high drama, brilliantly capturing both the man and the performer in all his complexity and swaggering style.

There are darker and deeper moments along the way – internal squabbles, AIDS – and satirical swipes – Mike Myers's hilarious cameo as a music executive - but ultimately, BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY is first and foremost a celebration of the creative spirit and music of Queen and Freddy Mercury.
