The Living Wall (1974)

Originally transmitted in 1974, The Living Wall is a Tyne Tees Television documentary co-produced with Border Television, which looks at the history of Hadrian's Wall and the people who lived and worked around the wall in the 70s.

An innovative building, The Sill is a showcase of local pride and passion. It features a permanent landscape exhibition; a temporary exhibition space a café and shop both specialising in local products and a grass roof walk not to be missed. Our expert guides will introduce you to the delights of this fascinating landscape following/prior to the film viewing.
